Re: ????.exe contains an invalid path

Hi,

we are running PowerGen 7.5 from the command line in a virtual machine and when ever we select the 'New Visual Style Controls' we get an error when building the exe of ???.exe contains an invalid path.

All the pbl's are in directories relative  to the directory to the Pwrgn115.exe is executed from i.e. the pbl path in PowerGen is shown as .\sa_aao01_src\sa_aao01.pbl. The path for the exe is similarly set up.

We've tried moving the template.manifest to various places but to no avail.

If we generate the application in PowerBuilder 11.5 it works okay.

Have we got to change something in the configuration?

Regards

Re: ????.exe contains an invalid path

Hi Andrew,

I haven't sen this error before.  Is it possible you could send the EXE and the manifest you are using?  Have you tried this on a non-virtual machine system?

Regards,

Phil
