We have been running Powergen 7.0 for PB11 for some time with no problems. For the past couple of days when we start it, either from a script or from the desktop, the screen displays briefly and a window opens briefly with a message 'error initialising sysam license'. I thought that the problem might lie with our powerbuilder installation, but PB11.2 runs just fine. Do you have any suggestions? We have grown rather dependent on this product for our builds.
I've just tried installing PowerGen 7.5. That behaves the same way.

Have you tried copying the sysam files into the PowerGen installation directory. That seems to solve this problem (or similar ones) for other customers.
