Re: Do limits exist about the length of the directory/file names?

Hi,

I'm experiencing a odd behaviour when bootstrap importing with an OLF file.
It appears as if when the length of the name of the destinationpath is long (> 100 characters), powergen simply doesn't import at all and stops with a 0 errors.
The problem doesn't appear for the name of the objects to be imported, only with the pbl's to import into (reside in the same directory).

Do limits exist about the length of the filenames used in .gen and .olf files ?

Regards,

Wim

Can you send the OLF you are using?  I can check it here.

I'm not aware of any length limits, but I'll check it out.

Phil

Hi Phil,

Thanks for the quick response.
I e-mailed the command used and the files.

Wim
