Re: Full builds with 3rd party PBD and Powergen

We are considering using the DW2XLS PBD which, I believe, is supplied without source code.   I understand that this can be compiled in using incremental build.
What we normally do for a build is pull the source out of version control and do a bootstrap build on it.  How does a compiled PBD fit into this scheme?

Hi Dave,

You shouldn't have any trouble including a PBD in the library list.  The Synchronization and Bootstrap Import functions will skip any objects which are in the PBDs.  And the regeneration will skip as well.

Let me know if you have any problems, but I just tested this here.

Regards,

Phil
