I have modified around 100 datawindows located in different PBL's (*.srd) & I want the changes to be reflected in the PBL's. I have made the changes only to the srd's (& not selecting these DWs from the PBL) since the change I wanted was like a search & replace across all the 100 DWs. I was trying to use the synchronization process instead of manually importing each of the srd's from different PBL's so that the changes that I made in the srd's would get reflected in the PBL objects. For this I chose "Library->Synchronize->From PBG's". When I do this I am getting the "could not open exported object file" error msg.
NOTE: I am not connected to VSS or any other Version control s/w. I am trying this locally.
Thnx
Anil
Hi Anil,
My guess is that you need to set up the Source Control Options in PowerGen so that the "relative" path names in the PBG's can be resolved to the correct "absolute" path names.
Look at the detail of the "could not open.." and check that the path being reported is the path where the objects are to be found.
Regards,
Phil
