Re: Is Powergen multi-threaded capable?

Currently I am using Powergen 3.203 to do Powerbuilder builds. We are planning on moving the application to a server that has multiple processors and would like to take advantage of this. I was planning on runnning multiple simultaneous builds on this server. Is this possible?

I know my version is pretty old but are any of the newer ones capable of doing this?

Re: Is Powergen multi-threaded capable?

PowerGen is not written to take advantage of multiple processors.  Most the build operations are performed in PowerBuilder DLLs, accessed by us through an API (ORCA), so we don't have control of that architecture.

There's nothing to prevent you from running more then one PowerGen build on the same machine.
