I'm trying to get specific objects extracted from a version control system, into a PBL using PowerGen. I want to create a OLF that has only the objects extracted. It appears that the OLF always has all the libraries or those specified. So, is there a way to create an OLF with only those items extracted ? I was hoping that the /D option with /E /T= would create the OLF based on the files in the specified directory.
That said, my goal is to import only certain objects extracted from the source control and then regen the app.
Is there a better / different way ?
TIA
David Ray
Do you have the objects organized in your version control system as 1 folder per PBL? If so you could create an OLF using wild cards and then just populate the folders with the selected objects. Does that work for you?
