Re: PB9 - PB10 Migration DDE Server Error

Hi All,

Here is my problem. We migrated from PB9 - PB10. We are in the Build Number 10.2.0 Build 7516. When I try to do the BOOTSTRAP using PBG's I am getting the following error.

DDE Server Window: Pwrgn10.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x10c36673" referenced memory at "0x000000". The memory could not be "read"

                 Powergen Version 6 Professional Edition

Please help me in fix this error. We stuck in creating the exe.....

Thanks
Karthik

Re: PB9 - PB10 Migration DDE Server Error

Hi Karthik,

Had you been able to Bootstrap before migrating?

This error is seen sometimes when the some of the build components (source files, PBLs, DLLs, etc.) are accessed over a network connection.  The crash is actually occurring in the PowerBuilder DLLs, but with the right configuration we should be able to eliminate it.
