Re: "application not found in library" error

Hi,

I got an error today with my PowerGen 9.0 build script, which has been working fine for quite a while.  When doing a bootstrap import of one of my applications, it gave the error "Application [name of my app] not found in library"; then it went through the whole multi-phase bootstrap process but very quickly, periodically giving that same error message.  As far as I can tell, nothing was changed either in the powergen project or in the pbls associated with this particular application.

The first time this happened, I went into the GUI and did a bootstrap of the app and it worked fine.  So, hoping that it was just a random one-time problem, I kicked off the whole process again, but I saw the same behavior in the same application.  This time I copied the bootstrap command that failed into a temporary script and ran it, and it worked fine, as did the rest of the process.

Anyone know what might be causing this and/or what I can do to fix it?

Thanks,
Ken Balakrishnan

Re: "application not found in library" error

Hi Ken,

What version of PowerGen are you using?  Are you starting with an existing set of PBLs or are you letting PowerGen create them?  Can you send the output log that shows the error and the source for the application object?

I haven't head of any problems like this.  The process should work flawlessly.

Regards,

Phil
