PowerBuilder's 8.0.4 Maintenance Release will resolve some issues I've had to kludge around in my applications, so I'd like to use it. However, I'm unclear on whether or not building my application with PowerGen will affect which version/build level I can run under.
Would there be a way for me to "update" the PBORCA version of Powergen Pro 5.0.0.6? Does that even matter? Can I still build my apps with PB 8.0.4, and get the benefits of the fixes simply by using the newer PB runtime files?
If not, can I look forward to a new build of Powergen that is built for PB 8.0.4?

PowerGen uses whatvever ORCA DLL is found on the system. So if you build with PowerGen on a system with 8.0.4 installed the results are completely compatible with 8.0.4.
Does that answer the question?

Phil
