Hi,
The search on the forums is not returning any answers, and I went through most of them anyway, but I am having a hard time believing this is a PowerGen problem, as just about everyone is doing what I am trying to do successfully.
I am trying to automate the PB builds from the sr* source files using PB 10.5 and the latest evaluation version 6.5.5.5. I have tried both the Bootstrap Import and the Synchronize and they both fail about 15 minutes in at the same file, every time. It fails during the "Re-importing objects which failed last Import Phase." I was told by our PB team that this process works from the PB IDE (get latest and build manually) and am left scratching my head. Of course, it fails in both the command line quiet and window mode, as they both use the same powergen project file.
Immediately after the process starts off, the project error and session error files are create with error code 116 [Fatal Error], but don't seem to have any effect on the rest of the process. Since these are created immediately, I am assuming these get created and then deleted if the build works fine.
The exact error is: "An unhandled win32 exception occurred in Pwrgn105.exe [*numbers*]" and then the process quits.
My command lines to rebuild the pbls are as follows [bootstrap or sync]:
REM -- pwrgn105.exe /K=Bootstrap.gen /PBG /Q
pwrgn105.exe /J=Bootstrap.gen /PBG /Q
I have been through the help files and tutorials and don't know what to do next. Anybody have any thoughts?
Thanks,
Josh
Hi Josh,
Can you send the PowerGen output log for the build to support@ecrane.com? I may able to spot something out of place.
For the build to fail at the point you're describing is very unusual (I think unprecedented). Would it be possible to share the application with us; and let us try building it here? That will be the quickest way to a resolution.
Regards,
Phil
