I am new to PowerGen and I would like to automate the deployment process of 3 Tier PowerBuilder application having EAServer 6.3 as a middle Tier application, PB 10.5 as Front end and Sybase as database.
Does PowerGen can be used to automate the deployment process of 3-Teir Applications.
As I was able to manually create the OLF and then able to get the PBLs through Bootstrap Import process and then Pbds. Now would like to deploy the PBDs / PBLs created. But I haven't found any option with PowerGen.
Please suggest.
Hi Sanjay,
PowerGen will produce PBLs (from source) and create EXEs, PBDs and DLLs. It doesn't handle specific deployment tasks.
