PowerGen V10.1 lets you Bootstrap Import, Synchronize and Compare directly from Git/SVN directories, if you are using PB 2017 (or later) with Git/SVN integration.
In PowerBuilder 2017 R3 PBG files are not maintained by PB (if using Git/SVN integration). Accessing source in the Git/SVN directories offers a simple way to run these (Bootstrap Import...) operations without PBGs.
For compatibility PowerGen continues to support Object List Files (OLFs) and PBGs for all operations and also has functions to create them for the Git/SVN directory structure.
